Ecolutions, llc was founded in 2007 by Jesse Boudreau and Antonio Maggiore. the focus of our company is xeric, permacultural, native landscape design with an emphasis towards rainwater harvesting, organic gardening, maintenance, and restoration of natural gardens and habitats. Our mission is to reduce the urban footprint on cityscapes and private landscapes utilizing natural, organic processes to enhance our environment and to address practical issues concerning the local food and watershed. We strongly believe that our local actions have a global impact. With that in mind, we make every effort to consider the whole when working with even the smallest part.
Jesse Boudreau’s design experience includes small scale organic market gardening and cultivation of culinary and medicinal mushrooms. There, Jesse trained with Scott Pittman, early pioneer of permaculture, Joel Glanzburg, permaculture designer and annual speaker at the national Bioneers conference, Susan Westbrook of Plants of the Southwest, and Donna Bonner, creator of the ever popular organic amendment “Yum Yum Mix.” Jesse worked as a nurseryman for one year at Plants of the Southwest. Afterward he began maintaining gardens in the area for private individuals for three years. Midway through the 2007 season Jesse was joined by Antonio Maggiore whereupon they began creating private permaculture garden habitats.
